Principles of Psychospiritual Coaching
A 10-hour professional development course introducing the InnerView Guidance model and its applications within coaching, counselling, psychotherapy, and spiritual guidance. Participants explore the 4Fold Path as a multidimensional framework for understanding the nature of personhood itself, rather than viewing the person primarily through the lens of a problem or presenting concern. Attention is given to the quality of attunement within the helping relationship through aligning with the feelings, needs, values, and purposes which serve to bring a person’s inner and outer worlds into greater congruence. Reflective exercises help participants learn InnerView Guidance principles they can then apply to their own settings and practices. Applications of a Psychospiritual Model in the Helping Professions: Principles of InnerView Guidance serves as the required text and provides the psychospiritual model covered in the course.
Intuitive Wellness Coach Practitioner
A comprehensive 80-hour certificate training facilitated by Dr. DeeAnna Merz Nagel for coaches, therapists, and other helping professionals interested in integrating psychospiritual, intuitive, and holistic approaches into their work. InnerView Guidance is taught as part of the program’s foundation in psychospiritual coaching, featuring the 4Fold Path, foregrounding the person rather than the problem, practicing empathic attunement, and other InnerView principles. Students then carry this person-centered, soul-oriented perspective into a broader exploration of wellness, spirituality, intuitive discernment, and other complementary approaches supporting growth and holistic wellness. The program combines theoretical study with experiential self-reflection and opportunities to consider how these principles translate into one’s own professional practice. Applications of a Psychospiritual Model in the Helping Professions: Principles of InnerView Guidance is one of the program’s required texts, alongside Case Studies in Spiritual Coaching: A Survey Across Life, Wellness, and Work Domains, co-edited by Dr. Nagel.

DeeAnna Merz Nagel has collaborated with Cedric Speyer for many years in bringing the principles of InnerView Guidance into applied practice. Her contribution to Applications of a Psychospiritual Model in the Helping Professions: Principles of InnerView Guidance explores the model’s application to wellness coaching.
DeeAnna develops and facilitates educational experiences that translate InnerView principles into the lived practice of coaches and other helping professionals. She currently facilitates Principles of Psychospiritual Coaching through the Institute for Life Coach Training and incorporates InnerView Guidance as a foundational text and framework within the 80-hour Intuitive Wellness Coach Practitioner program through Essential Soul Care Academy. Both courses offer continuing education credit for therapists and coaches.
While Cedric remains the originator and primary voice of the InnerView Guidance model, DeeAnna serves as a resource for practitioners interested in its application to coaching, counselling, psychotherapy, or spiritual direction.
